Terms and conditions
Last updated: 25 June 2025
By using AIChecked.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the site.
What the site does
AIChecked looks for surface writing patterns often seen in LLM drafts. The scan runs locally in your browser. Output is a rough signal, not a lab result.
Polished AI prose can score low. Human writing with formal rhythm can score high. Treat the label as a hint.
Not professional advice
Results aren't legal, academic, or HR advice. Don't rely on a "likely AI" or "likely human" badge in a tribunal, plagiarism panel, or hiring decision without other evidence.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Don't hammer it with automated traffic, try to break hosting, or misuse share links to spam people.
You're responsible for any text you paste on your own screen, even though we don't receive uploads.
No warranty
The service is free and provided "as is". We don't guarantee accuracy, uptime, or that it'll fit your particular task.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for choices you make after a scan, including lost marks, lost work, or reputational harm. Our total liability to you for any claim is zero where permitted.
Intellectual property
The AIChecked name, design, and scanner code belong to the site operator. Don't rebrand or resell the tool without written permission.
Third-party names
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and similar names are trademarks of their owners. We mention them for description only. No endorsement either way.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top will move when we do. Carrying on after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms follow the laws of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
