AIChecked.com is a free browser tool. This page explains what we collect, what we skip, and why.

Your pasted text

When you scan, the words stay on your device. We don't receive them. There's no upload step, no server copy, no account linking it to you.

Clear the box when you're finished if you're on a shared machine. That's your call.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to see how the site is used: page views, scan button clicks, copy/share taps. Google may set cookies and process IP addresses under their privacy policy.

We never get your pasted content through analytics. Events might include a word count as a number, not the actual text.

Cookies

Analytics may use cookies. The scanner itself works without them.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out add-on if you prefer.

Share buttons

Social share links open Facebook, X, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp in a new tab. Instagram copies a link to your clipboard. Each platform has its own privacy rules once you land there.

Children

The site isn't built for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or EEA, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Most of what we hold sits with Google as the analytics provider.

Email us if you want to raise a privacy question and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We might edit this page. The date at the top changes when we do. Check back if you care about the detail.
